Going live

Checklist before accepting real payments.

  1. Handle every outcome. Test success, insufficient_funds, customer_cancelled, customer_timeout, and expired with the test numbers.
  2. Verify webhook signatures and deduplicate on the event id (Webhooks).
  3. Send an Idempotency-Key on every POST and retry timeouts with the same key.
  4. Keep your live key on your server only, ideally restricted to your server's IPs.
  5. Ask NuruPay to enable live mode. After review, NuruPay enables live mode, issues your live key (np_live_sk_…), and registers your live webhook endpoint (https:// required).
  6. Make one small real payment and confirm the collection.succeeded webhook reaches you.
